The WPS All-City Summer Music Program is a free instrumental music program consisting of a Concert Band and String Ensemble.

Worcester Public Schools students published in It’s Lit! were honored on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the Durkin Administration Building. It's Lit! is an annual celebration of student writing and all students in preschool through Grade 12 were encouraged to submit original, not previously published creative works such as poems, memoirs, and short stories.

Stand For The Silent At Doherty

On Friday April 29th, Doherty Memorial High School took part of the “Stand for the Silent" Day. Stand for the Silent is one of the leading and most effective anti-bullying organizations, whose mission is to bring awareness to bullying and the real devastation it causes. One of the activities students took part of was painting phrases from the Stand For The Silent pledge on windows.
